Private Retreat@Burwood*8 acres*Hot Tub & Firepit

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Gretchen was great to communicate with. The house and surrounding area is stunning. The couple who live on the land of the property (don't worry its very private), were kind and friendly. They even introduced us to their horses and chickens, which was a treat. We also enjoyed the hot tub, very relaxing underneath the stars. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and so was the lounge. We love this whole area, so welcoming and just a short drive to the beautiful Leipers Fork, which we adore.

This one is special! My husband and I enjoyed staying in this beautifully restored historic house with our three boys for a couple days of respite. Nearby Franklin was a great place to dine, shop, and visit historic sites. We drove into Nashville for a day trip and immersed ourselves in country music and bbq. Fantastic stay and would book this lovely house again in a heartbeat.

The property was excellent and exactly as described. Communication with Gretchen was easy and timely. My family loved the house and location and would definitely stay here again!

First and foremost, Gretchen is a great host with awesome communication. We really enjoyed our stay in the historic cabin. We found the home to be just as advertised and were very impressed the moment we stepped inside the door. It has a ton of character and sure does have a way of making you feel at peace and right at home. We enjoyed watching the farm animals ( loved listening to the rooster! ) and the property is amazing.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. My husband and I visit the area every year at the end of October and this year, our daughter and her boyfriend joined us for part of the trip. The house is very beautiful and clean. It has everything you will need to feel like home. The bedroom downstairs has a queen bed while one of the bedrooms upstairs has a king. My husband and I preferred to be downstairs where the larger bathroom is, but a whole week in a smaller bed started to wear on our bodies. We wished we would have moved upstairs. Nevertheless, the bed was comfortable for its size. We did not cook while we were here but enjoyed the coffee pot daily. The property owners were easy to communicate with. The property is well laid out and easy to get to. Highly recommend.
